This cheered me up. Here I am, stuck for something to read, and I find this. Some lovely choices here from reSISTERance, get thee over there and get thee reading!

No, though I do have a lot of family in Shepton Mallet, Somerset so I imagine that’s where I got it from. I love the word ‘thee’. :o)
The other day I was in town with my son and he kept running away. I said fairly loudly, “Child, come here or I shall flog you!” (joking of course, and he knows it!) and an old man (about 80 I think) just about wet himself laughing.

V I wish I knew which blogger you were, I am probably being really stupid but your profile is private and I’m not good at remembering people by initials. ;oP
I may be visiting South Wales in the summer with the big man and the little one, so we might drop in for tea (blech to coffee!) then. Once I realise who you are of course. ;oP

Aharr! I went to Devon on holiday when I was but a wee kiddie, remember it being lovely. I seem to remember that was the same year my dad ended up with no clothes - he told my mum he’d do his own packing and then when we got there opened the suitcase and went “Helen [my mum] where are my clothes?”
Good memories! ;oP
I only just re-found resisterance, I used to watch you on Blogger and then you moved and I missed it. Someone on the LiveJournal feminist community kindly pointed me back to your new place and I’m so glad! The UK needs more radfems!
